WOLT Mobile version 2009-08-29 BETA (English)

The new version contains these changes:

• Version information: Tasks and timers can not be loaded with older WOLT versions

• Version information: Password protected settings or databases can’t be opened with earlier versions of WOLT. If you still try it, you may loose data.

• Version information: User device types can’t be handled with older WOLT versions. If you try to open and then save a host database containing user device types, they’re lost

• Bugfix: The syntax validation of workgroups didn’t work correctly

• New: Comments can be edited in WOLT Mobile now, too

• New: Managing user device types

• New: Sortable column “Comment” in the list of hosts

• New: The field validation of entered data may be changed to a lesser validation, so that only the syntax of really important fields (IP address, MAC address) will be validated

• New: The host name, the IP addresses and the MAC address can be resolved by clicking the link label, when adding or editing a host

• New: A version control will open databases created by a newer version of WOLT in read only mode to get rid of loosing data that couldn’t be handled by the older version. Version control issues are reported in this version information. Attention: You should not longer use any older version of WOLT than this version!

• New: If a database could not be opened, WOLT will set the read only flag in the failed database object. This prevents WOLT from overwriting the existing database with an empty one. Another try would maybe open the database correctly

• New: You can protect your settings and databases with a password and the very strong AES encryption

• TODO: User device types should be editable

• TODO: French translation for the new text elements
